Is there a place to learn where people aren't petty and condescending?

I often see people in this Datasciencetalk trying to learn, asking for recommendations and tips, and discussing data science. About 50% of the replies are from people who act superior, mocking and being toxic for no reason. The other 50% are supportive, providing recommendations, encouragement, advice, and technical information.

I’m wondering if there’s another place where people can freely discuss data science and machine learning fundamentals as they learn. I’m not talking about doing a boot camp or a Udemy course, but a community devoted to learning these topics.

The only reason some people think the Data Science section of Stack Overflow is better is that the moderators quickly remove repetitive questions, even if they accidentally remove some good ones too.

Honestly, the best way to learn data science is by working on your own projects rather than just listening to others.
