Udacity data science nanodegree review

I just signed up for a Data Science nanodegree program at Udacity, thinking it would be top-notch based on reviews and ratings. But, to my disappointment, it’s turning out to be the worst online learning experience I’ve had. Not only is Udacity much pricier compared to similar services offering free materials, but the quality of their content and lectures is also subpar. To make matters worse, there’s no option for a refund after just two days of enrollment. If anyone is considering Udacity, I’d advise proceeding with caution.

I totally agree with you on that ,People should go for alternatives platforms like Coursera, edX, and DataCamp offer data science courses that are highly regarded and more affordable. Many of these platforms also provide free materials, allowing you to one without a significant financial commitment.

I’m sorry to hear that the Data Science nano degree program offered by Udacity was not up to your expectations. When expectations aren’t fulfilled, especially after a large financial commitment, it can be aggravating. Think about giving Udacity comments and looking into other educational sites that provide higher-quality and more affordable courses. Talking about your experience might help others who are thinking about doing similar programs.

The Udacity Data Science Nanodegree is a well-regarded program for aspiring data scientists, but it has its pros and cons. It is one of the more expensive options compared to other online data science courses.

Wow, you paid for it out of your own pocket?

My employer funded me to take a nano degree course on computer vision with Udacity. It seemed interesting at first, but honestly, it wasn’t worth the very high cost.

That was exactly my experience with Coursera’s Linear Algebra course. It was terrible and didn’t teach me anything.

However, the R and SAS courses on Coursera matched what UTSA taught in their MSDA program’s introductory classes.

I guess the quality varies by course. Either way, it’s best to be cautious.
