Hey everyone,
I’ve been using LinkedIn’s Easy Apply feature to apply for jobs, but I’m not sure if it’s the best way to go. Has anyone had success with it? Any tips for making my applications stand out?
Hey everyone,
I’ve been using LinkedIn’s Easy Apply feature to apply for jobs, but I’m not sure if it’s the best way to go. Has anyone had success with it? Any tips for making my applications stand out?
Using LinkedIn’s Easy Apply feature can be convenient, but making your applications stand out requires a bit more effort. To enhance your chances, ensure your LinkedIn profile is up-to-date with a strong headline, detailed experience, and a compelling summary. Customize your resume and cover letter for each application, highlighting skills and achievements relevant to the specific job. Tailor your LinkedIn messages if you can, and follow up with connections or recruiters to express your interest. Engage with industry content and join relevant groups on LinkedIn to increase your visibility and network. Combining these strategies with Easy Apply can improve your chances of standing out in the competitive job market.
This must be the absolute worst method to apply for a job. It’s available to bots, and people with no qualifications are rushing to apply. This is also where I’ve seen many companies I’ve never heard of, which are most likely made up.
Instead, go to the actual website and apply. This manner, you can basically confirm that they are a legitimate company and use your own resume and cover letter. This approach resulted in one interview for me. Who knows why, but I believe it has to do with not following the herd of simple applicants.
Put an end to your LinkedIn job search right now. Employers utilise it as a means of deception, to start with, to determine your age, gender, and ethnicity. Furthermore, most of the jobs that are listed are fraudulent.
I’ve had better success getting callbacks from Indeed.
