Data Science Books

Hello folks! I’ve recently decided to dive deep into the world of data science, and I’m on the hunt for some great books to help me get started and advance my skills. I’m looking for recommendations for must-read books that cover the fundamentals as well as more intermediate topics. Whether it’s about Python for data analysis, machine learning algorithms, or real-world applications, I’d love to hear your suggestions. Also, if you have any hidden gems or personal favorites that have really helped you in your data science journey, please share! Thanks so much in advance for your help!

Although data science is a broad field, if you could only read one book to learn (or refer to) the most important concepts in the field, what would it be?

Without a doubt, mastering Introduction to Statistics

This is the Intro to Statistical Learning PDF link. Also see its more extensive brother, Elements of Statistical Learning (PDF)! They are both considered the Bibles of data science!

I second Aurelion’s as a very good step between acedemic statistical background and applied DS.
