Hey everyone! I just completed my undergraduate degree in visual arts and emerging media management. I’m considering pursuing a graduate degree in Data Science and would love to hear your thoughts on this career path. Which schools do you recommend? I’ve also heard suggestions about pursuing a dual master’s in statistics or computer science alongside Data Science. Do you think this is the best option for advancing in this field? Caltech, MIT, Stanford, CMU, and UC Berkeley. However, you need to be exceptionally gifted in math.
Thinking about a master’s program is awesome. Look for ones that blend math, computers, and maybe even some artsy stuff (data visualization is a big deal!). A double degree in stats or computer science sounds intense, but for now, a regular data science program will equip you with the essentials. You can always delve deeper into math or computers later if you feel the itch!
